ECR has recently become a premier provider of office equipment and supplies by merging with another local Mt. Vernon business, Cartridge Services.
ECR is located on the south west side of Mount Vernon on Harcourt Rd. Currently ECR has approximately 60 employees and occupy over 7000 square feet of business space. ECR's sales and service counter is open during normal business hours Monday-Saturday. Local deliveries and service calls are performed daily.

Michael Hawk founded ECR Computers & Internet Services in 1994. As Knox County’s first Internet Service Provider, ECR grew quickly and moved from its original location near Danville to a small office near Apple Valley where computer sales and services were added. In 1997 the business moved to 105 Harcourt Road in order to support ECR’s growing nationwide availability and Web Design Services. Constant growth necessitated the opening of our current office at 895 Harcourt Road in 1999. In early 2008 Cartridge Services, another Mount Vernon company, merged with ECR in order to support the growing base of customers served by Cartridge Services.
ECR currently offers Internet service, computer sales, residential and business computer service, networking, complete web site development services, and the newly added offerings of Cartridge Services which include printer, copier, and fax machine sales and maintenance, along with a full line of ink, toner, printing supplies, and office supplies.
